Hi, I’m Penny Ross!
I co-founded 5x2 Marketing in August of 2023 with my best friend Hannah after talking about it for nearly 15 years! I graduated from Mississippi College in 2013 and I've had multiple positions as a Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager, Communications Director and the Do-Whatever-It-Takes-Person at several companies, mostly in the print industry. I love volunteering with RISE Nonprofit of Hattiesburg and had the joy of being their Director of Communications for two years when they had the RISE Hot Air Balloon Festival and needed extra help with such a huge undertaking. Now that I have my own agency, my time is spent obsessing over my clients' success and waking up excited every morning to work on new projects for them. I have the best husband in the universe, Taylor, and we are proud cat parents to some of the cuddliest cats on the planet! I love our 5x2 Team and I pray every day that our team shines for Jesus through what we do as we help our clients grow, look good, and make some money!

I’ve had the opportunity to design for, and manage, marketing campaigns for multiple national and global companies. I have 10+ years of graphic design experience, 8+ years of corporate marketing experience, and 8+ years copywriting and content curation.

I’m a Mississippi native whose work has taken me across 16 states as a creative producer and storyteller. With a background in media and entertainment, I’m set to graduate with my B.S. degree in May 2026. For the past three years, I’ve proudly served as Miss Hattiesburg Volunteer with the Mississippi Volunteer America Organization, combining my love of service with my passion for connecting with audiences. From an early age, a camera has always been my special interest, and today I’m proud to call myself a cameraman by trade. My goal is simple: to create video content that captures your vision, meets your audience’s needs, and tells your story in a way that resonates. Whether it’s a trendy short-form video or an impactful documentary-style piece, I’ve got this!

Misty MacBain has over 15 years of experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping and is currently studying to get her MBA in Business Administration at Liberty University. She has 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a grandmother at home and attends Macedonia Baptist Church in Petal, MS. She is a huge Cubs baseball fan, loves Jesus, and Coca-Cola. She's an all-American type of girl and looks forward to helping you with all your financial needs.
